The project, “Farogh-e-Aman Aur Khawateen,” focuses on promoting peace, inclusivity, and social cohesion across Pakistan. Its primary objective is to identify, support, and empower influential women and men recognized as peacebuilders within their communities. The project aims to diminish the allure of extremist ideologies and advocate for greater involvement of women in peacebuilding activities. Another aspect of the program involves building the capacities of male peacebuilders to create an enabling environment for women peacebuilders and promote their work. It utilizes a mixed methodology of imparting training, formulating best practices, and cascading learning impact through peace action projects implemented across Pakistan by program beneficiaries.
