Taghayyur is a multi-faceted program focused on mitigating impacts of climate change. Under this program, we support & promote initiatives and sensitize & mobilize communities to strengthen their capacities. We also equip media & civil society activists to report and highlight facts on global environmental crises. Our activities stimulate measurable impact, influence and outreach, catering to strengthening Pakistan-wide institutional support and community resilience towards countering climate

catastrophes. During floods of 2022 in Pakistan, GNMI supported aid-related activities, promoted efforts of social activists, and addressed media professionals on the significance and need for improved reporting on the intensity and repercussions of global warming. The end goal is to reach the length and breadth of Pakistan to raise awareness, stir better preparation, respond, and recover promptly, and eventually mitigate environmental calamities.
