As part of the Taghayyur program, our first intervention focuses on providing humanitarian aid during floods. This initiative aims to support affected communities through immediate relief efforts and long-term recovery strategies. During the catastrophic floods in Pakistan in 2022, GNMI has played a pivotal role in highlighting the issues in national media and delivering on-field humanitarian assistance in the inundated areas of Sindh and Balochistan.

We have collaborated with local organizations and community-based activists to mobilize resources, deliver essential supplies, and provide humanitarian assistance to those in need. Our efforts are pivotal in raising awareness through digital media about the dire situation, ensuring that the plight of the affected communities receives the attention it deserved. Furthermore, we work to promote flood preparedness, disaster risk reduction and empowering communities to better withstand future flood events, ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable populations.
