This program aims to build the capacity of journalists to report on the impacts of Covid 19 in Pakistan. As the COVID-19 pandemic confines journalists to their workstations at home as before they go to the field to collect the stories. This sudden shift exposed them to challenges related to the infodemic of bad news, baseless medical pieces of information, and sensationalist headlines. This project’s goal is to sensitize journalists with tools and techniques that help them verify the information or news and counter mis/disinformation.
