GNMI has established a sustainable mentorship model that builds on its journalist training cohorts. Trained journalists of this program have gone on to mentor aspiring journalists and emerging digital content producers within their own communities. This mentorship component is designed to deepen fact-checking competencies, strengthen the verification of digital news content, and promote responsible media practices at the grassroots level. By establishing peer-to-peer learning, the program nourishes a new generation of media professionals who are equipped not only to produce credible and authentic news but also to actively challenge misinformation and uphold the principles of journalistic integrity. These mentor-led networks form the backbone of a growing movement for truth-based storytelling in Pakistan, contributing to a broader culture of accountability, media literacy, and ethical content creation nationwide.
