GNMI has organized the first-ever virtual journalism festival to celebrate the achievements of project participants. Ten participants from Balochistan and Sindh have showcased their projects before 11 experts and trainers, 2 U.S. consulate members, and 8 university representatives. Each participant has been awarded a mobile journalism (MOJO) kit, equipped with the necessary tools to continue developing effective multimedia stories related to gender-based violence (GBV) beyond the project’s duration. Additionally, 200 special COVID-19 kits branded with GER logos have been distributed to journalists, trainers, and management who contribute to the project. The festival, featuring 29 participants—including students, experts, and university representatives—highlights the students’ work, produced with the skills and guidance provided by the project, ensuring ongoing commitment to gender-sensitive journalism.
