3 customized courses including one for both senior and junior cadres with relevant synchronous and asynchronous content were developed to improve the technical, and professional knowledge and skills of participants on the priority subject areas identified by INL; this was achieved through online consultations with GOP partners for identifying content priorities, online consultations with subject experts for designing and conducting a gap analysis of current curricula, validation of gap analysis from GOP partners and INL informing course development, validation of developed courses by GOP partners and INL, review and then revision of courses content based on feedback from trainees by subject experts; – this activity was also put into other online training activities of the program as all courses’ development is indicated and implied here, conducting need assessment to recommend additional training courses. Online trainings were conducted on self-efficacy and crisis negotiations courses (the latter with 2 sets of courses – one for Sr. and one for Jr. level officers with 4 trainings each), and leadership and resiliency of women in CJS; feedback from participants was also gathered via Adal Forum (a community of practice) in all training and when indicated by participants, course design or content was then revised and refined as needed – this was constant input across all training activities under all objectives of the program.
These courses will comprise 77 percent synchronous and 23 percent asynchronous content; including course plans, schedules, live lectures, seminars, online activities, presentations, videos, reading and reference materials, quizzes, and assessments that will be designed by ZU subject experts according to international standards. GNMI will prepare the asynchronous materials including interactive quizzes, exercises, activities, and video lectures from subject experts. Once completed, the courses and their content will be uploaded to “Adal”
