GenMedia is a dynamic and multi-faceted program at the intersection of gender issues and media. Our mission is to empower journalists, digital content creators, filmmakers, and stakeholders to highlight the persuasive issue of gender across diverse media platforms. We are dedicated to promoting a gender-inclusive and socially just society. GenMedia runs impactful digital media campaigns by uniting seasoned journalists, civil society activists, artists, choreographers, medico-legal practitioners, rights-based activists, and psychologists. This collaborative endeavor provides a formidable platform against gender-based violence (GBV), aiming to reduce social stigma and spark meaningful conversations. Our goal is clear: to enable all stakeholders, including ourselves, to take responsibility for mainstreaming gender equality within their communities and institutions. The program seeks to support national and global stakeholders in developing and adopting policies and systems that contribute to the elimination of GBV worldwide.
